Hello Maddy – a very warm welcome to Service Design Sydney.
This site is something a few of us (Zafer, Justin, Katrina, Linda, Joe, Fiona, Katja) talked about first at UX SD 12 and also at the #NewtownCM a few weeks back – a social site created by the service designers of Sydney forthe service designers of Sydney.Of course there's already a lot going on in Sydney – but we felt an online social context was also possible – and the SD ning site in Melbourne was an inspiration too.

While there's no editor deciding what gets published there may be just a bit of post facto moderation to keep it clean and on-topic.
