ABOUT
This group is for web practitioners and other professionals who are interested in inclusive research and design practices. This includes accessible web design and development, user research that involves people with disabilities in a holistic, integrated fashion as well as compliance with web accessibility content guidelines such as the W3C's WCAG 1.0 and 2.0.
We currently meet on the first Tuesday morning of the month in the Sydney CBD.
Our morning meetings are informal and do not incorporate presentations.
These are a great time to meet other web accessibility and Inclusive Design practitioners.
Evening presentation meetings are being planned for alternate months and we hope to start these in September 2011.
Many of us work alone in large organisations, as independent consultants or in small businesses with just one or two other colleagues in similar roles. This meet-up intends to make it easier for us to meet, network and exchange ideas.
